Meagan E. Graham, LPC

Meagan E. Graham is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and Virginia Board of Counseling approved supervisor located in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Meagan strongly believes that healing and wellness is a person-centered process.  Meagan is passionate about meeting her client's where they are and providing the opportunities for clients to recognize their own potential.  Through her years of clinical practice and continued training, Meagan has developed a holistic therapeutic approach that is Trauma-informed and incorporates different evidence-based therapy models including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Mindfulness, Polyvagal Theory & Somatic techniques, solution-focused and goal-oriented techniques, to effectively support each client's journey of healing and well-being. 

Chinedu Nwogburu, LPC

Chinedu Nwogburu is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over 20 years  of experience. Mrs. Nwogburu also holds a Chemical Dependency Certification from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia.  Mrs. Nwogburu completed her BA in History at Imo State University in Nigeria. Later, she  completed her post-graduate diploma in Public Administration at Imo State University, Nigeria. After moving to the United States, Mrs. Nwogburu attended Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA, where she obtained a Masters of Art's degree in Community/Clinical Psychology. Mrs. Nwogburu has worked with patients with MH/MR diagnosis, behavioral disorders, psychiatric disorders, and substance abuse issues.

Karri Lewis, LPC

Karri Lewis is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has lived in the Hampton Roads area since 2011. She is a passionate clinician who has developed her professional identity and focus on healing, growth, and transformation. Karri provides professional and ethically sound therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She warmly welcomes working with active duty and veteran populations as well. While Karri utilizes a trauma informed approach with each client she works with and different therapeutic modalities including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and mindfulness, to support her client’s needs; she has been formally trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapies to support her clients. Karri understands the importance of meeting her clients wherever they are in life and holds the client’s therapeutic work with great regard.

Shenita Williams, LPC

Shenita Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked with children with behavioral and emotional support needs across multiple settings for the last eight years.  Shenita has a passion for working with young children who are impacted with significant life changes related to grief and loss, trauma, divorce and separation, foster care and adoption. She specializes in treating children with ADHD, anxiety, a history of trauma or trauma experiences, depression, and mood disorders.  Shenita utilizes strategies of play therapy as well as CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) to assist clients with self-regulation, building interpersonal and social skills, and decreased problem behaviors. She works with parents and guardians to provide psychoeducation and skills training to support the family in the home. Shenita understands the complex needs of children and how to tailor evidenced based practices to the developmental needs of the child and their family.

Maya Bland, M.S.Ed.

Maya is a Licensed Resident in Counseling pursuing her license as a professional counselor in Virginia. Maya received her Bachelors in English from Old Dominion University in 2018. After recognizing a call to the mental health field, she completed her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University in 2021. Maya has experience working in an inpatient setting at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center with patients experiencing various illnesses, transitions, substance abuse issues, and co-occurring disorders. It was here that Maya's passion for recognizing the impact social determinants have on health and mental health began. In session, Maya is sensitive to cultural issues and utilizes a combination of CBT, DBT and narrative therapy to suit each client's needs. She is a warm, empathic counselor who is focused on helping her clients know and reclaim their stories.
